The YGG Play Summit 2025 gathered more than 5,600 in-person attendees in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, with online content reaching over 490 million users worldwide and livestreams attracting more than 500,000 unique viewers, according to data monitored through online media, social and consumer intelligence company Meltwater.

There is an expanding role of content creators in accelerating the mainstream adoption of web3 gaming, according to a media statement sent to BitPinas
- YGG noted that creator-focused ad spending reached $37 billion in 2025, growing four times faster than the broader media sector, according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau.
- Sprout Social data further showed that 90% of consumers rely on social platforms to track cultural developments, underscoring creators’ central role in product discovery, community building, and user education across the web3 ecosystem.
YGG co-founder Gabby Dizon emphasized the community’s impact on developing new talent, noting how volunteers and scholars have grown into founders, esports players, and prominent creators.

What Happened at the YGG Play Summit 2025?
The conference featured networking sessions, workshops, and live broadcasts designed to strengthen the skills and visibility of emerging web3 creators.
- The program opened with a live recording of the LOL Lounge podcast, featuring creators YellowPanther and Iceyyy.
- Discussions centered on sustainable creator careers, brand alignment in Web3, and the value of in-person participation for long-term growth.
- WolvesDAO and Beam hosted additional sessions on content strategy and monetization, while creator tools such as WolvesDAO’s AI-driven platform Kizuna were showcased.
- Other featured creators included Jared Dillinger of Agent Daredevil, Pichapen of SuperConnector, and Pukerainbow of Pukecast.
The Summit also hosted the GAM3 Awards by GAM3S.GG, held in Manila for the second consecutive year.
- Cagyjan, the co-founder of Silly Kitties and an early Web3 creator, received the Creator of the Year award.
- Gunzilla Games’ Off The Grid won five awards, including Game of the Year.
- Other winners included Parallel, EVE Frontier, Ronin, Pixels, Atia’s Legacy, Pudgy Party, and Gigaverse.
YGG added that education and workforce development formed a major part of the event.
- More than 50 participants from industry, government, and academia joined Metaversity Interactive to identify priority web3 and AI skills.
- Base supported a no-code workshop for building game prototypes, while YGG Pilipinas and partners launched Creators of Play, a program aimed at unifying Web2 and Web3 creator communities.
- Over 100 new creators have joined the initiative.
Attendees also participated in community-focused experiences.
- YGG Play Summit 2025 featured a Creator Photo Crawl, sports games, and a Pob Crawl in Poblacion, Makati.
- Cosplay competitions and on-site content facilities such as the Creator Lounge provided additional engagement opportunities.
- Coins.ph hosted a “Love in the Metaverse” dating segment led by creators Amira Alawi and Kookoo Crypto TV.
- Event sponsors included tournament partners Might & Magic: Fates, Parallel, and Vibes; diamond sponsors Aurory, Coins.ph, Sky Mavis, and Ubisoft; and a wide roster of platinum, gold, silver, and media partners.
YGG Pilipinas then pledged to continue its support to web3 and AI adoption in the country, according to the media statement, through initiatives such as Metaversity, the MFW Caravan, and the YGG Fiesta weekly show.
